I've wanted to be a writer since I was old enough to hold a pencil.

After gaining an MA in print journalism at The University of Sheffield, I cut my teeth as a reporter at a regional newspaper before moving into national media, specialising in women’s interest. My work has been published in a number of titles, including The Sun, Mirror, Express, Mail on Sunday, Bella, Best, Woman, That’s Life and Fabulous.

I later moved across to communications and PR in the charity and education sectors, securing media coverage and writing copy across print and digital media.

At the end of 2019, with an idea floating around my head, I made it my New Year’s Resolution to write and finish my first novel by the end of 2020. After enrolling on a writing course in January, the first draft was complete in June. In October I signed a publishing deal with Bloodhound Books. You can read more about my journey on my blog.

I live in North London with my husband, our two young daughters and our two Blue Cross rescue cats. When I’m not writing, I can usually be found in a playground or my local coffee shop.
